Just a hunch, haven't bothered yet to Google her, but I'm guessing she might be an heiress of the Eaton family of Canadian retail store fame?
I did Google George Eaton, who I remembered as having had a very brief career as a Grand Prix driver back in the 70's, one of those rich kids who bought himself a ride with an under-funded team that needed his money... I loved this quote from his Wikipedia entry:
"He served as president of the family company for ten years. Under his leadership, Eaton's continued its precipitous decline from its historic dominance in the Canadian retail market."
