Here's a nice video on the Woodenboat site, sailing to Tangier.

Small boats on the Chesapeake. Instantly I felt the unique motion of sailing in a dinghy sized boat. You're almost in the water in a small boat, there is a whole different effect on your senses.

The best of the sail are the last couple minutes of the vid. when the catboats close into the harbor and the water gets flat. There's no distraction from waves and less wind noise. Gliding sensuously along the old fishing wharfs, I could go forever doing that. The area is beautiful.
