I think sailing media, print, online including forums, is primarily about the sailboat. Interesting topic for all that own sailboats, me included.

Sailing, on the other hand, isn't primarily about the boat. To me sailing is the action of and around the boat. The boat is like a character in the set of this video and the artist adds other media, music. He really loves sailing.

Some beautiful footage of sailing the west coast of Scotland in his modest boat. I remember being mesmerized by the boats sailing amid beautiful backgrounds off Isle of Skye last year.
