Did any one see the Sail Mag article emailed out Dec 11? It's titled "A Fresh Look at the Crab Claw Rig" ( http://www.sailmagazine.com/boat-news/winelec-20-motorsailer ) . This NEW rig sure looks just like a Lateen rig used on ancient sail rigs of the distant past (and to this day in the Far to Middle East. Just added a bit of electric to it.

When I was in Iran I saw these often!
