The spirited Eleuthera Christmas Junkanoo competition between Rock Sound, Tarpum Bay, Governor's Harbour and Hatchet Bay will be held in Hatchet Bay this year on Christmas night through to Boxing Day morning. If you're anywhere nearby, you should try to get there. It's a great show. We can hear the Rock Sound musicians practicing every day at the high school.

All around Rock Sound men are out sprucing up the town for Christmas. They're cutting weeds, sweeping the streets, touching up paint and putting up decorations.

Business owners all over the Bahamas have been attending seminars to learn about the new VAT that will go into effect January 1.
