We stopped in that marina to fix a small problem we were having. We saw that cat before it was launched. We had to walk by it any time we went to the local market.

At that time I had some doubts about it. The rudders were barn door plywood. I understand the marina said it was time they move it or launch it. We were there the day it launched and it was on it's lines. But we departed before they headed out. The sail plan was a mystery to us!

To us, it looked like a great boat to take up into the protected waters of the Delta, and make a floating home out of it.
