they won't buy the Explorer data from Monty and Sara. I'm sure it's a combination of not wanting to foot the added expense and an arrogance that they have "better" data. Only C-Map data or Garmin actually utilize Explorer data, I think. There are some really big holes in the Navionics data down there. It's been a big issue ever since Raymarine switched from using C-Map data with the retirement of the Pathfinder Series, and openly criticized. They've had a long time to "fix" their problem.
