Dunno how long this downsize is gonna be. I confess I enjoyed being a homeowner in my little 1400' ranch with shop in the back. I miss the comforts of home but working to build them up in the camper van. I mean, this is a Ford van with amenities and and a pop top for headroom which is good in the warm, but not up much in the cold/rain. I used to say, I have a hunch...now, I do. Hunched over but heck, I cook sitting down, can turn on the tea water without getting out of bed. When I get the solar system done I'll have the fridge to run most days, too. Been food pack'ing it for now. Veggie packs, tuna/salmon packs, canned fish, etc. Fresh veggies if I go into town but don't every day. It's much like my memories of cruising. Only thing is I get too much sodium due to the world proclivity to put too damn much salt in everything. I hunt for no salt and find it here and there but not so much in a small town.

Kinda like the time I tried to buy new shoes in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. I wear a 14 and they just stared at me as nothing in the town was over an 11...oh well.
