… this has been on my list of things to do for for some time. I like the traditional format of booklets, but I have to think having all the boat & equipment manuals and instructions, etc. on a laptop or an iPad has to be better. Blowing up pages, searching for info, emailing cut-outs and pictures, and so on. Not to mention a shitload less weight and tons more space on board. I'm guessing I have to have 100 lbs of manuals, at least. I'd the curious what the best device (laptop, iPad, etc.) might be, what are the best sources for finding digital manuals and instructions on the Internet … I have been starting to compile files of recent equipment on the computer that I can transfer, but what about 20 year old pumps and other equipment ? Any hidden pros & cons those who have done this found out about after you were done. Thanks, cheers, John
