Dead Wake--Larson

Recall that in the 10 month of WW1 a great ocean liner set sail to England with the best sea captain in Cunards service as Master. This was a true seaman, raised and sailed as a Square Rigger and fearless but smart, was Capt. William Thomas Turner. America was neutral in this conflict and confident that the war in Europe would some be resolved. Another reason to take stock of our good fouture, prosperity and protective oceans.
Over in England, Churchill hoped this would change: “For our part, we want the traffic--the more the better; and if some of it gets into trouble, better still.” Britain had hopes that somehow, the U.S would "feel moved to join the Allies, and in so doing tip the balance irrevocably in their favor.
Think about about Walther Schieger Capt of Unterseeboot U-20 Commander of a happy boat who's men respected and in fact adored him as a kind and wise leader and also as fearless as Turner.
Give yourself a treat and an education.
In between coats of varnish read a good book.
