I'm surprised he's still alive!. Remember Billy Dunlop from Maine?
In Response To: April Fool... ()

I read Billy's book about crossing the Atlantic in a 9' boat(smaller than my Nutshell Dinghy). He left Portland in the 80's, and damned if he didn't make to GB or Ireland or somewhere. What I remember about the book, was the people shore watching his finish on shore.

Because he was so blistered from sitting in salt water, our hero was standing up in the little boat, bathed in flashlight beams, buck naked from the waist down.

Pretty impressive, right? Guinness book etc. Do you think he quit at that? Oh no! He decided to circumnavigate in that boat.

He made it a good ways around, but bought the farm somewhere out there. Next time you're out, Nat, raise a PBR for Billy.
