and stick it to the foam palm hand sanders. It's expensive but worth it in the end because you don't waste any of it. I'll also start aggressively and work down to 320 for the final few coats. Starting from a stripped bare rail is tough and the first few build up coats get sanded off for the most part but it's something that you have to work through. It takes patients because you feel like you're not getting anywhere. Endeavor to persevere! It's all worth it in the end.
