Where roller furling booms still look fat and clunky, headsail curlers are way ahead. You couldn't even fit two of my Jurassic era Harken furlers in this space, let alone the furling lines. Simple hose connections, done. I watched the crew down below(I'm working over the harbor) rolling the two headsails and mainsail in and out yesterday like kids playing with venetian blinds. Once the cost comes down we'll see more of these.

Pretty bow, it would be a shame to spoil it with even a new generation anchor. I'll have to see what's in those hidden deck lockers. No one has improved the old clam shell ventilator-elegant even in 2015.
