When Woodenboat had a boat show there. The Concordia 39 was CROCODILE, grey(natch) hull. All original, I remember well how spare it was below. All wood, pine I think, it wasn't dark below but 'somber' or something, a little like a funeral home. Wonderful boats but a little too 'olde' for my taste. But they are beautiful boats to see on the water.
At that time, Jon Wilson, the founder/editor of Woodenboat magazine, also had a Concordia(smaller I think), and it was at the docks as well. His boat was very controversial because it had carbon fiber spars. That go-fast upgrade never really took hold with the group, but there is one in our harbor that has the faux carbon fiber spar. As a group, they are tenacious racers.
