It's called a KMR-700U Marine iPod/USB Receiver

Bought it on Amazon. Has two cables inside: wide old iPod/Phone and USB. Hadn't realized that it is a two-piece unit, but the amp has all of the usual wiring and can go anywhere. The head has just a multiconductor cable. Not the large display of a phone or car, but easy to scan through the storage folders.
