The house we've bought in Belfast has been taking up a good bit of time this spring. Remarkably we have still been getting time to do projects on the boat too. Old houses just feel like boats to me, pulling wires, running plumbing in places it was never meant to go, the majority of this work has been done by contractors but we are very hands on.
Here is a shot of the kitchen before, I won't show the pics of all the stuff that was in here before it was "flushed".
Here is a current picture, still lots to do, building a pantry, more trim work and the list goes on. The window over the sink looks east out to the bay, mostly a "winter view" of the water.
This a detail shot of the shower stall that we managed to squeeze into a tiny bath upstairs. Picked the mussel shells off the beach on Sears Island, the stones we picked off the beach @ Roque years ago.
