Update on cleaning dodger windows made of Strataglass

The person who made my dodger told me the windows were made of Strataglass. He said the droplets of water drying and leaving a stain is caused by acid rain. Washing and then polishing with products from Imar would solve the problem. I checked the Strataglass website and they suggest using only Imar products, and specifically say not to use Plexus. Unfortunately I can't buy Imar products over here so will have to wait until I get home in the fall. I will stop using Plexus on the dodger windows.

Thought this might be of interest in case anyone else has Strataglass material.

From the Strataglass website:

We recommend using only IMAR Products. IMAR Strataglass Protective Polish, IMAR Strataglass Protective Cleaner, and mild soap (preferably) IMAR Yacht Soap Concentrate) on Strataglass. (We no longer recommend the use of any other products, regardless of the manufacturer’s claims.) Use of harsh cleaners like “Simple Green and Orpine” will dull the curtains quickly. Using any other product(s) void the factory warranty.(nl)NEVER use a wash-and-wax product on Strataglass.(nl)WARNING – Use of Rain-X, Pledge, or Plexus on Strataglass appears to work for a short time but then dulls the surface and presents an “Orange Peel” effect. Do not use any of these products.
