I've been in touch with the owner of an Alden Mistral. At 36'6" LOA, TI is the third smallest boat in the race.

It starts today and conditions sound challenging. TI's owner reported: "46 boats in race. We are third smallest. And we are predicted to have a wild ride, 20-35 kts forward of bean, against a 3-3.5 Gulf Stream. 10-12 foot seas. Going to get beat up."
