Fast wood. Very fast wood, built this past year at Rockport Marine and nearly complete. A W Class 46'er - Joel White design in the spirit and beauty of the old class racing boats with a fast underbody.

46'x11' with an 8' bulb keel, very light in cold molded wood, carbon fiber spars and rudder. I believe this is the 4th W-46.

Just up the road, the new W class, The W-22, is being built at Artisan Boats in Rockport. That is almost complete and will be heading to the Woodenboat Show in Mystic(next week?). Boat builders are out straight in town.
