It's a very light boat (wood/epoxy) that should be quite stiff for a shoal draft boat; with the bulk of the lead in the bulb 1'9" down from the water line.

What I like is the stub/bulb keel is long+strong. You could ram this into sandbanks all day long with no damage. And the rudder is smartly located above. This long keel also allows for a substantial length board.

The intent is to be stiff in a good breeze, in just a couple feet of water. The bottom is designed to plane so a W22 could scoot in a breeze. The deep board will suffer from some turbulence below the stub keel, like all centerboards with stub keels. But it is long, and will add quite a bit of lift and tighten the boats course up to windward -- when you have enough depth to use it.

Here are the specs. I hope we see some actual shoal sailing to see how they perform.
