The weather was pretty wild here on the Jersey Shore Saturday night, and the breeze out of the E-NE had been blowing pretty good all day, so I imagine it was doing the same up there...

Probably no coincidence the accident happened right around High Tide, that jetty could have been seriously awash during a good blow out of the NE...
