Local knowledge helps,...and we did cut those rocks a little tight.

At least by the looks on the ipad. Mary Ann was at the helm and I was trimming. But it was near the top of the tide and we saw about 12 feet at the lowest point. As far as the banks of the Thoroughfare, it's amazingly deep. Often a stones throw away from Vinalhaven, we were in over 20' of water. Truth is in that light wind and our slow tacking, you're desperate to get the most out of your speed. Great fun.
