Congratulations on your new boat! Sounds like you are figuring it out fairly quickly. I'm surprised how heavy the Hunter is but that should help for comfort. I am curious how the Hunter sails, I just looked up the PHRF rating and surprisingly the IP 27 is rated faster (at 216) than the the Hunter (219). Hopefully you can tack the Hunter a bit easier than the IP.
