It might be 'unfortunate' if one had an all electric powerboat that needed a generator to boil up some coffee in the morning! I've always been amazed at boats that had an all electric galley. Sure, the inverter might help to a degree but not so Lilly for the big draw items like AC, hot water, oven/range...
