Got the last of the paperwork squared away yesterday, we are officially registered with the state now.
I'm going to take another stab at getting the electrical system sorted out, also going to bring down a case of cold 12oz. bribes for the electrician down the dock. I have the owner's manual, shore power, battery power and time all in one place now. I can't believe it is that complicated, I am going to have to wrap my head around this breaker/switch setup though, hidden breakers and switches just don't seem proper? I want to make sure I understand it before I tear it out and replace it with proper panels.
Next project is the fresh water system, I think they used it but I'm not sure. In any event it needs to be sanitized and checked. I'd like to find out if the electric heating elements in the tank work as well. That will give me a chance to finish cleaning the bilge.
Then the all important wine glass rack needs to be installed, can't function properly without glasses for the wine.
Running rigging is next, some of the lines are stiff, some are green, the outhaul on the furling main was attacked by nesting sparrows. God bless all the little birds but find something else to make your nest out of please!
That should get us in good shape for the shakedown on Saturday.
