that he fished with in Narragansett Bay. Sometimes lobsters came up in the net and every once in a while we'd find a bag of "shedders" on the doorstep. (I guess "new shell" is a more positive-sounding handle.) The lobster house wouldn't buy them, so he gave them to his friends. They tasted pretty good to me -- and this was years before I learned about grilling the beasts.
