This is a nice little pictoral and expanation of the battle.

By the way, REAR ADMIRALS (one star above a Commodore, and below a Vice Admiral, and "Admiral of the Fleet" or 4 start Admiral) got there 'Rear' title because they were farther back from the brunt of the battle then their senior commanders. Un-Natural Selection?
