The Martian is a film about voyage, unexpected challenges and solutions and self reliance. Perhaps not a film for the ages but a fine evening entertainment. The ingenuity in the film pales next to the time I used pringles cans, duct tape and a muffin fan to vent the engine room with leaking exhaust gases. 😉
