To brag a little, it was the best finish I've had in 15 or so tries in this race. We were 2nd in Cruising and 4th overall, beating all the J boats and some other go fasters. A Pearson Ensign won the race, followed by a Bridges Point 24 then a Concordia yawl, then us in our Ranger 29.

It was a day for older higher rated boats as there were holes in the wind. If you could keep your old boat moving you were highly rewarded!

Real fun finish with first 9 boats within 3 minutes of each other, then 17 more within 2 minutes of each other.
The race was shortened, but still, usually there is a 5 hour elapsed time between first and last finishers, this year only 52 minutes.
