Roger that, glad to hear your engine problem was not serious. We had a guy on a cruising boat towed by a Panga anchor near us yesterday. He waved for our attention from deck. Turns out he lost engine power at mouth of Baneras Bay the morning before. He had trouble with his sails and sent his crewman off in his dinghy with shorts and a bottle of water looking for assistance. No word back from dinghy for 30 hours. We took him to the dinghy dock in La Cruz and happily his dink was tied up there. He was reunited with crewman at Port Captain's office. Oh he had no handheld VHF and he was having issues with his main VHF. They are sailing for Florida when they get straightened out.
