What a way to finish things off. 2015 was a crazy year across the entire playing field.
After a unbelievable year of lots of personal happiness, of much business success, of travel aboard and to now of a lot of sadness;
2015 will go down in the record books as totally insane.
RogueWave is kicking butt, got another office and did some hiring.
In 2015, there was for us four adventures to Europe. The first was to LaRochelle France to survey and to sell an Ovni with sea trials in true 35 plus knots. What a very cool place, for its the Annapolis of France. If you've never been, well you got to go.
Then I went to Venice where I loaded a client's Little Harbor 52 aboard Sevenstar
for her journey back to Philadelphia where I sold her within a week. The canals of Venice looked and smelled like a sewer. Plus tourists everywhere.
Then it was hiking around Norway for the month of August which in my opinion is definitely one of the most beautiful places on earth. If you've never gone, do yourself a favor go and before its to late. The people, the place is just really nice.
Then back to Genoa Italy to load once again onto Sevenstar yet another Little Harbor, this time a it was 63. She arrived into Fort lauderdale and was also sold within a week of her arrival. Genoa has to be the dump of Italy. Dirty.
Now its off to the Central Coast of California where our retirement home is. Getting back into surfing.
At 64 I got back into surfing. Just got my new Patagonia boards and R3 Patagonia wetsuit. If a great white shark gets me cause I'm floating like a seal; just like to say to all that it was a pleasure flying with you all.
And I got back into marathon running (my 35th is coming up February 7 which is the Surfers/Sunset Marathon Venice, CA.)
And in 2015 Kate's Dad passed away in January 17, Kate's good Friend Gale Browning passed away December 15 and now our Jon also passed away Christmas Eve.
Do it now for one will never know; one can plan but as one designs and paints their own life on their canvas; most of the time their masterpieces never get completed.
Peace and love. Hopefully we'll all see each other in April.
Thank you. Wishing you all my best.,
My view from the porch. Surfs up.
