I've been using TruFuel or VP Small Engine Fuel for the dinghy but they're expensive and limited availability means purchase requires a bit of advance planning. This sounds like a viable alternative, but also inconvenient and a bit messy.
The question this raises, is whether this is a good way to revive stale ethanol gas? If you have clouded phaze separated fuel, it seems like all you need to do is add some fresh water slosh it around and separate the water from the fuel. You could keep a 4-cup gravy fat separator aboard, a little bit of octane booster and you're good to go. Am I overlooking something?
