Well, what a year....Jon/Gale/Chris/Jim/Val/Scott

Hi everyone..

Thinking about it, and getting to the point and realizing that how Jon died doesn't really matter to any of us at all.
Jon lived a great adventurous life the way that he choose to live it. Thats what I loved about him. It also sends a great message to live each day as its your last, to do good, to influence those around us in a positive and in a stimulating way and to just live... we all worry about so much, and whats funny is that most of everything that most worry about is out of ones control ie..the market and the jerks that run it...

So, heres to those in my immediate life that passed away in 2015.
1. Kate's Dad Jim died of cancer in January (86)
2. Kate's life long friend Val died of cancer in February (71)
3. Bernie's cousin Scott died of a heart attack stepping out of a cab in Manhattan at the age 52
4. Kate's friend Gale Browing died December 17 of cancer
5. Our Friend Jon of a heart issue at 65 December 24 (Jons Dad died at 46 of a heart issue and his Uncle at 40 with an heart issue)
6. Chris Ford of Annapolis Canvas Creation died of cancer at the age 65 December 26

Amazing.. For it doesn't really matter if you believe in god or not, or pray or don't pray everyday or never prayed, got money or don't have a pot to piss in, do good or just being a scumbag, exercise everyday or eat twinkies, drink or don't drink, kick the dog or love the dog, have a masters or drop out of high school, smoke dope or are a dope.......it just doesn't fuc*ken matter.

I run faithfully all of the time.. I run a 15 miler, a 10 miler and 7 miler every week. I ride my bike every week for a 30 plus mile ride), I sail every day or at least I work on a boat, I eat red meat only once every 2 months, i don't go to church, i get 7 hours plus of sleep every night, i drink wine but very little hard stuff, I never smoked, i take no meds, i'm regular, plus I work my ass off every single day....and all of that amounts to nothing except self satisfaction....it only adds to quality for the moment.

There's been talk about our medical world and how it works.. I pay more per month than some fat slob that smokes and eats like a pig and the only exercise that he gets is getting another bag of chips and a cold cheap beer....

So, continue having fun and if you're not having the fun that you want and that deserve...then you better start soon...

for if you don't start swimming you'll sink like a stone....the times running out...

I ran 10 miles today and surfed for about 4 hours getting my ass kicked on some big waves...

Hopefully see everyone in April...

Bernie at Shell Beach/SLO having fun, living, for if you don't spend your time really living, then dieing is all that you got..
