You can install 50 watts of solar panels which will give you fully charged batteries pretty much all the time, particularly if you don't use the boat every day. The solar panels on my boats keep the batteries right up. The boats are never plugged into shore power. The power boat doesn't even have shore power and its batteries (3 grp 29s) are almost always fully charged despite it being a wood boat that has bilge pumps than run daily.
