I sure as hell have, lately. A mere 2 1/2' wide by 5' long, smaller than a small powder room. What a beating it takes! Feet(many), are often scrambling and scuffing around as this powder room floor is moving, at times violently. Add to that, one of the boats biggest mechanical stress - the rudder - has it's linkage tied to it through the binnacle and cable turning blocks mounted below.

After sanding with #40 - #60 and finally, 80 grit, the Ipe looks wonderful. I'm thinking of oiling it....

Ha! This is 'our' boat and we use it hard. Just like our house, I tell guests worried about their shoes to, "wipe your feet on the way out."

This dog has christened my sole.
