Meant Sandy Island, not Dog Island -- and meant NE wind conditions when I wrote "on the strong NW wind conditions".

Overall it was a nice trip but it would have been nicer if we'd have had the milder 15-25 ESE trades that are normal for this time of year.

BTW the boat was equipped with an oversized Rocna and 3/8" chain ground tackle which performed flawlessly. It was very reassuring the way it "stuck". My own boat has a Rocna 20kg but I only have 40' of chain, the remainder rope. I may double that chain this year.
