I only seem to find the Taylor made kits for 2x4 wood, but I can probably find some similar D material to fasten to each end of my 2x6 fender board to serve the same purpose. Or perhaps I'll order a set of these and use 2x4s.

I also plan to try PVC tubes hung vertically inside the fender board and see what that does. In googling this I stumbled across a couple guys with sailboats who use 5 ft long 3" diameter PVC as a fender board for pilings. I don't need anything for pilings, but it confirmed that PVC might be suitable for a fendering material in some situations.
