I have met Bruce and Liz several times over the years at ports between Newport and Somes Harbor. VERY good - and knowledgeable - sailors and people.
They had previously circumnavigated and this was the 'dream boat' they close after that experience. . The hull was made by Moody's and Bruce finished
the hull and outfitted her himself. Bruce singlehanded her extensively and they also cruised as a couple frequently When I last saw the boat and crew
both appeared to be in excellent condition. I had thought about buying her myself when I was in-between boats but 'Departure' was not for sale at that time.
