The AC boats are catamarans and they don't park them with the masts in -- they have wing sails, not masts, per se, and pull them out at the end of the day's sailing.
Did a gravitational wave pass thru New York when that photo was taken? The masts on those boats look seriously out of column! Also the mast on the J/Boat.
