Yup. The fact is we like to take leisurely rides around the lake in the evening. Between a party barge pontoon boat, runabout, or Jetski, we decided on this classic woodie. My wife loves it and so do I (well, I think anyway). We haven't actually put it in the water yet.

We have the runabout, jetski, hobie, and kayaks but I think this will be perfect for what we want. Pop had a wooden sailboat when I was young and I recall working on it all the time and not enjoying that. Somehow I think this will be different. It has a yanmar which I know how to tinker with and the potential to go to a steam engine is there. Time to dig out the sandpaper and varnish sticks again.
