I already have an 80 year old classic motoryacht. A wooden boat only makes sense to me if it is a classic - i.e., pre-WWII. My next boat will be a pilot house trawler in the 44 to 48 foot range that cruises at 10 knots or less. If I wanted a water jet go fast boat I would just buy something from our local builder of water jet cruisers.
