Nature put on her own show Sunday night, and quite frankly there was no way the fireworks we saw after this could compare. The picture doesn't do it justice. We were anchored about 300 yards off Rye (Playland Park) NY. (The lights and tower to the left are from that historic amusement park, which was built in 1928 and is still operating.)

The nearby American yacht club put on a nice show, followed by the Playland show which was even nicer. We saw distant fireworks on every horizon from the towns surrounding Long Island Sound. But the sunset was the highlight of the evening.
