There's still plenty of evidence remaining of Matthew's visitation. Dozens of boats remain washed up high on shore. Some may have been derelicts but certainly not all. Hundreds of private docks were destroyed. A dock seems to be automatically part of the deal when you buy a house along the ICW and many never get used. There's no urgency to rebuild them. There's little that would affect a boat traveling the ICW. All marinas seem to be functioning normally. The day dock at Beaufort SC is missing some cleats but that dock has been deteriorating for years and may have been unaffected by Matthew. I've heard that the free dock in downtown Jacksonville took a big hit but I haven't seen it. I'm still in Georgia.
