Our Yanmar 4JH-T has started just fine with a group 24 for 15 years.
In Response To: Deep cycle wet cells vrs "starting batteries." ()
House bank is 4 golf carts and are isolated from the cranking battery. We have an intertie switch to use as "jumper cables" if either bank should fail. To my amazement the sealed automotive type from Les Schwab is on its 16th year! Every time I turn the key lately I expect to hear only a whimper. If it wasn't for the entertainment value I would replace it. ;o)
