I have one of those and it is very comforting to know I'll get an alert on my phone if my battery gets below a preset voltage, or my bilge pumps cycle more than x times per day (or stay on for more than y minutes), or if the interior motion sensor triggers, or if my boat moves more than 25 yards. It also shows my present boat's position and historical tracks in the app on my phone.
