Hi Larry,

The boat came with swivel lights that are inset into the ceiling panel over the V berth shelves. I changed to LED bulbs some years ago.

The problem is they were installed a bit too far forward. You have to hold a book at arms length to have the light shine on the pages. I could move the lights aft, but they're inset so would leave a hole and force me to drill another large hole. I'd rather leave these in place and go with a small surface mount.

I'll probably go with the Imtra. Before buying I'll check out what might be at Hamilton and West when I'm back in Maine next month.
