I know a neat place with no visible inhabitants and off the path.You anchor deep with two anchors in the wind shadow with the wind coming in from the north east and south east simultaneously. Lopevi Island. 16 degrees 30 minutes S and 168 degrees eighteen minutes E. It is near the point on the northeastern part of the western side of the island. One wouldn't think of it as a good anchorage, but the wind blows on both sides and leaves the area alone. Come in pretty close. It is deep and steep to. Use a for and aft anchor with a trip line. Then you have it all to yourself. There was driftwood on the little black beach and trees for a hammock.
