Second Dumb Question of the Day :) Todd, I searched the archives for the discussion that you and Maine Sail had regarding the installation of seacocks. His preference is to through bolt the seacock to the hull, and yours was to tap into the fiberglass backing plate. Are there any tricks to tapping the fiberglass? Is it similar to just tapping regular steel? Or do you overdrill, wax up a bolt, and use thickend expoxy to make the threads?
