I used the Froli springs on my last boat. They work as advertised. That mattress had a sunken spot where my butt lay. I installed the springs under the whole mattress and also put a dozen or so extras where it was needed. It really helped.

If installed on a newish mattress I think it would bring it up to the comfort of a custom mattress from HMC.
