backsides once I get to this project. I think anything wood on a boat should be sealed backside. Thanks again for the tip. Like you say, I live in resort ski town and everyone who visits always asks me what boot or ski should they buy, and the answer is anything top of the line is probably all the same, you probably can't go wrong ... I suspect this is true with varnish, and just about anything else. You generally get what you pay for don't you !
